In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Many people believe that in the future printed newspapers or books will no longer be used because online reading materials are available for everyone. Personally I disagree with this statement because printed newspapers and books will always have a place in our lives and not all the online materials are free at all.

Firstly, to say everybody can get access to all the knowledge online is unreal. I admit that there are many websites on the Internet allow people to read their contents for free. But we can see that the website that we need to pay for their contents are much more trustworthy, much more reliable. We cannot make sure that all the information you get on the Internet is right. To make sure all the content is fact, there have to be someone to censor the information. And who will pay for them if you read their content freely without a cost. Similarly, most copyrighted e-books and other types of online content are only available if purchased.

Secondly, there will be many people who prefer buying printed newspapers and books for many reasons. Reading on a screen is sometimes a test of your concentration to many disturbance on the Internet especially for kids and teenagers. They cannot concentrate on what they are doing and will get disturb by games, message suddenly pop up. Furthermore, many people buy printed materials because they value the experience of reading and collecting physicals books. Someone just love the smell of the all paper.

In conclusion, I disagree with the statement the people will no longer pay for printed newspapers or books. Besides, it is wrong to claim that you can read everything on the internet for free.

Errors and Improvements:

  1. "Many people believe" -> "Numerous individuals contend"
Explanation: Replacing "Many people believe" with "Numerous individuals contend" enhances the formal tone by using more sophisticated vocabulary.

  2. "Personally I disagree" -> "I, personally, dissent"
Explanation: Insert commas around "person" improves readability, replacing "disagree" with "issent" elevates formality of the expression.

  3. "will always have a place in our lives" -> "will perpetually their relevance in our lives"
Explanation: The phrase "will perpetually maintain their relevance" is more precise and academically formal than "will always have a place".

  4. "not all the online materials are free at all" -> "not all online materials are freely accessible"
Explanation: "Freely accessible" is a more precise and formal way to describe the availability of online materials without cost.

  5. "to say everybody can get access" -> "to assert that everyone can access"
Explanation: "To assert" is more formal than "to say", and removing "get" before "access" streamlines the sentence, making it more academic.

  6. "much more trustworthy, much more reliable" -> "significantly more trustworthy and reliable"
Explanation: Combining the phrases with "and" and using "significantly" instead of repeating "much more" enhances the academic tone.

  7. "We cannot make sure" -> "It cannot be ensured"
Explanation: Changing to the passive voice "It cannot be ensured" is more formal and aligns with academic style.

  8. "there have to be someone to censor" -> "there must be an entity to scrutinize"
Explanation: "An entity to scrutinize" is more formal and precise than "someone to censor".

  9. "And who will pay for them" -> "Moreover, who will compensate for them"
Explanation: Starting a sentence with "And" is informal; "Moreover" is a more formal transition, and "compensate" is more precise than "pay".

  10. "many people who prefer buying" -> "numerous individuals who prefer purchasing"
Explanation: "Numerous individuals" and "purchasing" are more formal than "many people" and "buying".

  11. "a test of your concentration to many disturbance" -> "a challenge to one’s concentration due to numerous disturbances"
Explanation: "A challenge to one’s concentration due to numerous disturbances" is more formal and avoids the informal possessive "your".

  12. "will get disturb by games, message suddenly pop up" -> "may be distracted by games or messages that suddenly appear"
Explanation: "May be distracted" and "that suddenly appear" are more formal and precise than "will get disturb" and "suddenly pop up".

  13. "because they value the experience of reading and collecting physicals books" -> "owing to their appreciation for the experience of reading and amassing physical books"
Explanation: "Owing to their appreciation" is more formal than "because they value", and "amassing" is a more sophisticated term than "collecting". Correcting "physicals books" to "physical books" fixes a grammatical error.

  14. "Someone just love the smell of the all paper" -> "Some simply cherish the aroma of the paper"

Explanation: "I dissent from the assertion that" is more formal than "I disagree with the statement the", and "individuals" is preferred over "people" in academic writing.

  16. "it is wrong to claim" -> "it is erroneous to assert"
Explanation: "It is erroneous to assert" is more formal and precise than "it is wrong to claim".
