In recent years, the growth of technology has contributed particularly to the improvement of our living standards. Therefore, some people claim that the lives nowadays are more liveable that the initial centuries. From my perspective, I wholeheartedly agree with this statement and this essay will explain why
One of the primary reason for my agreement is because of the decline of wars. In other words, after a long period of fighting, people nowadays partly raises their awareness about several severe impacts of wars, like the decrease of population or the destruction into our living environment. As a result, wars were stopped and erased by a large amount of worldwide population, contributing to the sustainability of our life today. Besides, by living in a peaceful and harmonic environment, we can improve and develop lots of aspects of our life such as economy, education and hospitality
Another factor why I completely agree is that the development of technology and science. This is because while in the past, people must deal with potential hindrances coming from the undeveloped information network, like difficulties in lettering and contacting, or linguistic barrier among nations in the world, global residents these years get numerous benefits from the wide spread of technology, particularly the popularity of mobile phones, computers and the internet. Consequently, modern people, especially young generation, can have a better quality of their lives by using some modern devices and gaining more knowledge from the internet
In short, I fully agree that people nowadays have a better quality of life, due to the decrease of wars and the expansion of technology. Although there are still some drawbacks that we need to address, I think we should put more attention to upgrade the international tendency and lead to a better community in the future
