Various environmental problems have been happened due to the advanced technology; therefore, some people believe that people need to live a simplistic life to tackle these problems. However, others argue that technology is an effective solution to solve these problems. From this writer's perspective, technology would be an effective wat to tackle these issues due to alternative sources of energy and biotechnology.

People who support the view of technology will point to the fact that it helps people create numerous alternative sources of energy. Fossil fuel is unfriendly source of energy because when this type of energy is burnt, it will discharge pollutant into environment such as carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, which are the main causes of air pollution. Therefore, people need another source of energy. Thanks to the development of technology, people have created many devices that ca harness many friendly environment energies. For example, India has employed its advanced technology to build up photovoltaic solar power which harness sun energy to provide electricity without causing any damage to the environment.

However, a majority group of people believe that technology advancement has caused various environmental problems due to traffic activities. This is because nowadays, there are various kinds of vehicles produced. However, these kinds of vehicles are run by fossil fuel, so when these vehicles work, they pour out a huge number of emissions into the environment. According to a recent research, Viet Nam is one of the countries that has suffered from the most terrible air pollution due to the transportation system is this country. This may be true, but in fact, scientists and engineers have studied and created a new kind of vehicle run by electric which will not discharge any pollutant into environment.

In this writer's opinion, technology progress is the way to address the environmental problems due to biotechnology. Thanks to the development of technology, scientist now can reproduce and re-create many kinds of plants and animals that used to extinct, which also means that it can diversify the natural habitat. Additionally, people can create numerous trees at the same time in order to deal with deforestation. Therefore, biotechnology can help people deal with these issues.
