People hold different views about whether it is more liveable to settle in a city or live in the countryside. In my opinion, stay in a city is the best option.
On the one hand, dwellers can live in a healthier environment in the countryside. Rural areas don’t have as many cars as the city that these zones have fresher air and people can be prevented from many respiratory diseases. Moreover, cities also have a serious problem is noise pollution. It is a result from the sound of many vehicles that inhabitants can be distracted and get annoyed while the countryside provides a quiet and peaceful space for people to focus on their work or relax . Obviously, the countryside is a liveable place to many people.
On the other hand, I side with people who prefer living in cities because it brings many benefits and convenient things to dwellers. In the city center, there are several shops and supermarkets which provide many advanced things like automatic house cleaning robots, intelligent fans. With these smart objects, living standard can be improved remarkably, citizens can relax and robots will do the housework for them. Moreover, the opportunity to get a well paid job is also high as the city is now in the circumstance of lacking labour force. It is clear that people should live in a city in order to enhance their living standards.
In conclusion, while countryside can bring many benefits, I still believed that people should live in a city.
