The given charts illustrate the protein and calories that individuals take from food and beverages in four different regions (North America, Latin America, East Africa, and India) on average.
Overall, it is readily apparent that North America is the only area where citizens achieve a nutritional standard of calories and protein. Moreover, most of the protein that people take is from animals, with the exception of Indians.
Commencing with average protein intakes, in North America, 62 units of protein are from meat, which triples that from other sources (merely 18 units), the total of which exceeds the ideal amount. This was followed by Latin America, with a total of about 45 units, including 32 units of protein from animals and 13 units from others. The amount of protein on average that East Africans and Indians take is relatively similar, ranging from 29 to 31 units. The ratio of protein to others was almost one to one in these two countries.
In term of calories intake, North America recorded the highest amount of calories consumed, at nearly 3500 units, surpassing the ideal amount by 500 units. The total intakes of Latin Americans almost reach the ideal calorie amount, around 2800 units. The figure for East America and India are significantly lower, standing around 2400 and 2000 units, respectively.
