Crime are a problem very popular and appear a long time ago. Not only Viet Nam but other countries have it. In particular, crime rate in Viet Nam increase though each years not hundreds but thousands to tens of thousands.
There are many types of crime in the world such as burglar, pickpocketer, killer… and exist lots of reason to they guilty. Majority, they don't have jobs, money or that can they want not working but they still have icome for own their from these illegal activities. About killer, it start from personal reasons like jealous, conflicts,… some other cases are caused by people with mental illness. To illustrate situation above that recently at a coffee shop in Ho Chi Minh City, there was a case where a man did not want to break up with his girlfriend and killed her in a very barbaric and horrible way.
Whatever happens, the police and competent authorities are there and solve the problem very quickly. They always prioritize safety and protection of resident before criminals. In my country, police regularly patrol, local authority hang banners and organize propaganda sessions to prevent and warn populartion against illegal cases. They also advise everyone pay attention to personal item and not to trust people with suspicious actions.
We ourselves should also be more vigilant and protect ourselves when we encounter bad people. If we witness criminal cases before our eyes, instead of remaining silent, we should report them to the authorities because our information is guaranteed to be confidential, which will be of great help to them and the victims.
