In some cultures, old age is more valued while in some cultures youth is more valued. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
In today's world, some countries have aging populations while others have the opposite and they have different opinions about which age group is more valuable. In my opinion, I think both have their own strength points.
On the one hand, in some countries, people believe that elderly people are more appreciated than younger ones. To be more specific, people in an old range of age who have lived and learned many cultural heritages for a long time can preserve cultural specificity perfectly. In another aspect, the figure can be a monitor to raise and take care of their family by some cultural norms to become a good person. With all the experience they have had before, older people can be a rote model for the youth.
On the other hand, in contrast, some of them believe that teenagers nowadays are more necessary than the elder ones. In the development of economy and technology, young people are the main workforce because of their advanced knowledge, cultural exchange and cultural integration that make a higher living standard for their country. Besides that, the youth can receive many cultural uniqueness from various countries in the world which lead to diversification in culture and attract more foreign tourists.
In conclusion, both elderly and young people have their own positive sides which make them become more valuable. However, both helped their countries become better.
