The diagram below shows the process of growing and preparing pineapples and pineapple products
The provided diagram illustrates the step-by-step process involved in transforming pineapples for several purposes.
Overall, there are a number of distinct steps, from the initial drying of these fruits to the final making of juice, canning, or exporting by boats.
At the beginning of the process, pineapples are put at a distance of 26 centimeters from others under the sunshine, at temperatures of 28-30 degrees Celcius for seven months, after which chemicals are added to them in order to stimulate them to grow. After five months, the size of these pineapples increases significantly, to 30 centimeters in height and 2 kilograms in weight. Subsequently, they are drenched in water so that all harmful substances from chemicals are eliminated before being processed for consumption.
The process continues in 3 ways for 3 different products. For making drinks or canning, these pineapples then have their chops cut down and their covers peeled, before being put in an extractor to create juice, or being chopped into pieces and canned. For conveying to retailers and companies, pineapples after being soaked in water are washed once more time by a wax, and they are then sealed in boxes before transporting to boats and exports outside.
