There are some opinion that the main goal of science should be to improve people’s lives. That’s right, science can have people do anything in factory, in dangerous place or even in their house. But, I still have slightly disagree with their statement.
First, science can protect people’s lives but they also can hurt them too. It can hurt to people’s health. For example, electronic devices have blue light that make human’s eyes lost their vision. There also cause cancer because some light waves. If a robot have some error, they will attack human. Furthermore, some elder don’t know how to use equipment that can cause some broken and even cause explosion.
Second, science project can cause some effect to the environment. For instance, transport’s smoke are from burning fossils fuel can make air more polluted. Some nuclear project test can destroy a area that cause the deforestation. Chemical can destroy atmosphere that make the earth become hotter.
In conclusion, science have many advantage and disadvantage but it always use for human’s life. People have many different opinion about it. But I think it depend from how human use it.
